Inspiration:
I am not a morning person.
I read something recently that resonated with me so intensely - morning people look forward to getting up and they look forward to going to bed. Night owls don’t want to get up and they don’t want to go to bed.
I am living a life of resistance.
But as the seasons shift from Winter to Spring to Summer I do find immense joy in the morning light that streams through my bedroom window. It’s like it knows that the answer to avoiding grumpy morning is to push pure sunlight in earlier and earlier until I can’t help but feel energized by its presence.
I’m grateful for that morning light and I poured it into this painting - hopeful that it brings its warmth and optimism into your home year-round.
Details:
This is a mixed media painting on a 1.5" gallery wrapped canvas. The edges are painted a deep yellow ochre and you have the choice to order it unframed or in my favorite unfinished maple float frame. This piece is titled and signed on the back and will arrive wired and ready to hang.
