Inspiration:
It seems entirely impossible to me that anything might have happened 30 years ago and I would’ve been alive to see it. I’m not sure where the time went. I read about a phenomenon that as you get older your days become more similar and so your brain categorizes and stores them away as one event. A lifetime of breakfasts, days in the studio, walks with the dog, family dinners all compressed into a tidy brain-package. And another phenomenon where time begins to pass more quickly the older you are because the perceived length of a minute in time is relative to the total number of minutes you have experienced in your life. These are the things I think about with my minutes when I should probably just be grateful to have the minutes at all.
Details:
This is a framed mixed media painting on a 1.5" gallery wrapped canvas. This piece is unframed and comes with the sides painted off-white. This piece is titled and signed on the back and will arrive wired and ready to hang.

This piece is too large to ship via regular shipping methods. The shipping price you see at checkout is for me to remove the painting from its stretcher bars and roll it in a tube for shipping to you or your local framer. You may then have it re-stretched on your end. It is also possible to ship this piece (still stretched) via an art delivery service. Please contact me for price quote if you'd prefer this option. It is typically between $500 and $800.
I currently ship standard to the continental US and Canada only. If you live outside these areas please contact me to see if shipping to you is possible. Each painting is shipped out of my studio in Alameda, CA within 2 weeks of the purchase date.
