Inspiration:

As I get older I’ve come to appreciate what a walk in the woods will do for my mood. Here in the San Francisco Bay Area you’re never far from a redwood grove or a strand of bay and eucalyptus.

I’ll gather my husband, the dog, an errant teen (happy to join with the promise of lunch) and pick a trail. The kids say “touch grass” and the millennials call it “forest bathing” but it’s all the same. A bit of fresh air, the crunch of twigs underfoot and with eyes open - always a surprise of some kind waiting to remind you how beautiful the world is when you walk into the trees.

Details:

This is a mixed media painting on a 1.5" gallery wrapped canvas. The edges are painted a dark green and you have the choice to order it unframed or in my favorite unfinished maple float frame. This piece is titled and signed on the back and will arrive wired and ready to hang.
