Do you keep a list of places you’d like to go? Things you’d like to do. I’m starting to find that if I don’t keep a list, when space opens up for an adventure I’m at a loss of what to do or where to go. As a family we have favorite places we go over and over. But lately I have the urge to see new things. The urge for wide-open spaces. To breathe in fresh air and marvel at nature. This painting pair fills me with that same feeling of wonder and possible magic that I have when exploring new places. And it makes me think of Monument Valley. Of what I hope it feels like when I finally see it in person. It’s on my list.
