Inspiration:
This year I was introduced to the delight of Florida’s warm springs - Rainbow River to be exact.
To be in and on this crystal-clear, warm water is pure joy. River otter, water birds, the occasional alligator (whom the swimmers don’t seem to mind). You can see to the bottom and get lost in its aqua blues and emerald greens.
I tried to capture the beauty of its colors and the movement of its gentle current here to remind you that there are places of unbelievable beauty wherever we go.
Details:
This is a mixed media painting on a 1.5" gallery wrapped canvas. The edges are painted a matching blue-green and you have the choice to order it unframed or in my favorite unfinished maple float frame. This piece is titled and signed on the back and will arrive wired and ready to hang.
